When landlords are thinking about making any major changes to the housing
service, tenants and leaseholders are entitled to their own
independent housing experts to double check what the Council is doing or
saying. The Government expects Councils to pay for this service so that
expert professional advice is completely free for tenants and leaseholders
at the point of delivery.

Independent Advisors should be just that -- Independent.
We work on behalf of all tenants and residents but
remain independent of any landlord. To protect our independence, we
never represent landlords or their consultants during Stock Option
Appraisals. We work only for tenants and
leaseholders. Furthermore,
DWA's staff are not all ex-landlords: the company
employs a wider range of skills -- community development workers,
regeneration experts and tenant activists.
